We have over 20 years’ experience in construction and property development. As a mid-sized company we are large enough to provide economies of scale, but small enough to provide a personal service.

What really sets us apart from other builders are highly developed systems, processes and technology introduced by our Directors to make your project efficient, cost-effective and stress-free.

Directors/Project Managers

With 20 years’ experience in construction and property development, Pete and Don have managed a large variety of projects over the years. What sets them apart from regular builders though is their business backgrounds and careers prior to joining the construction industry.

Peter Cossey

Peter is a qualified accountant and so is highly skilled at budgeting and saving costs for clients. He is an experienced project manager having managed $100m projects across different countries and was a certified project manager trainer. He also holds a site manager LBP.

Don Souloglou

Don is a qualified engineer and forged his career running businesses manufacturing consumer goods. His obsession with quality control and attention to detail comes from his experience in building and running multi-million dollar factories. These same systems are now used at Assure Build for consistently high-quality assurance.

Head Designer

Jared Dacre

Jared has been designing and managing building projects in Auckland since 1995. He is an architectural designer and has the distinction of holding 2 additional LBP qualifications – Carpentry and Site Management. His extensive experience both as a designer and as a head builder is what makes him stand out in the industry. The advantage to our clients is the assurance that their building designs are optimised for cost-effective construction. Jared is great at helping clients balance aesthetics with costs to always meet their budget expectations.

Our head builders run teams ranging from 3 to 40 builders and so can manage any sized project. They have considerable experience across different styles of homes, whether character or contemporary. All our head builders are Licensed Building Practitioners, so you can be assured of their competence.
